Questions and Answers

The Boat
Legality Compliance
Our Scandinavian boats are designed for safe navigation in Norwegian fjords, compact, practical, and perfectly suited for exploring Copenhagen’s narrow winding canals.
When you embark on a harbor cruise with us, you are in principle on a family outing aboard a private boat. Despite the informal circumstances, your boatman is professionally trained and certified in the boating world’s proficiency system.
The boat is equipped with required and recommended safety equipment. Furthermore, you are insured to the same extent as if you were a passenger on a commercial vessel.
Maritime Safety
When we are on the water, the maritime Act is in effect.
By law, all boats must carry appropriate life jackets for every passenger. While wearing a life jacket is not mandatory, having one on board for each person is a legal requirement.
Your boat comes equipped with enough adult life jackets as standard. If there are children in the company and you do not bring your own suitable children’s life jacket, you must register the child’s weight in the “Life jacket” field during registration – then the boatman will make sure that the right size is provided.
